Supply and demand? NTTA laughs in your face! HA!
The NTTA voted to raise its rates over 30% starting September 1st. Since everyone is poor now, revenue is down on the Tollway and other roads in the system by over $30 million. That typically means it currently is costing drivers too much to pay for tolls. To get more people to use your product, you should probably lower your rates.
NTTA's way to deal with it? Raise rates! And in the real world, that means even less drivers will be using the NTTA roads. So when does the cycle stop? We may never know.

The cycle stops when only the elite can afford to use the road. Everyone wants to treat the NTTA as business. "If you don't want to pay the fees, don't use the toll road".
What they forget is that the toll road was built using public right-of-way and public capital. Like the Cowboys Stadium, we own the road and we should be able to insist that they charge us a reasonable fee to use the road. Likewise, we should insist that they treat us fairly when we get 45 days behind in paying our tollway bill. Instead of charging late fees that amount to 18,000% APR interest.
I did not make up that number, you can look it up.
