Our Reps Are A Twittering

No, Tweety. We're in the 21st Century now, and Twitter is all the rage. In an effort to understand how or why baby boomers would use Twitter, you can start following your local Congressmen on the service. Denton County's reps Michael Burgess CD-26 and Kenny Marchant CD-24 both Twitter now. Burgess seems to enjoy his TwitterBerry, while Marchant is new to the service within the past week.

 

In case you can't get enough, some of the more interesting tweets come from Governor 39% Rick Perry. Rather than discussing politics, he has told us about his relay races and WWII bombing runs. Typical of Governor Do Nothing.

 

There's plenty of Democrats on Twitter as well, but we will have to cover them at a later time. We have to go check our updates now in case we miss something from M.C. Hammer.
