McCain-Palin: The Maverick & The MILF?

The Maverick and The MILF is the sitcom title proposed by Bill Maher. It does say one thing about McCain that is true. No, not the maverick part. The MILF part. Say what you want to, but Governor Palin is pretty hot for a Republican. And it shows us something else- John McCain's knack for making beauty queens his side kick. Hell, look at his wives.

It also shows us something disturbing, that we already knew. John McCain is impulsive. And even if it was his campaign staff who decided Palin would be a good idea, it shows he is willing to listen to almost anything, and go for it. Who else does that remind us of? Hmmmm. Oh yeah, George W. Bush! And Bush's impulsive behavior and tendencies to listen to everything his staff tells him, is what has gotten us into the mess we have been in for the last 8 years. As Obama said Thursday evening, "eight is enough"!

We can not afford another term of an impulsive right winger, much less two of them. Governor Palin, although young with cute kids, is an anti-choice, pro-drilling hockey mom who's only experience leading anything is a town with less people than Highland Park, a state with less people than Collin County, and some caribou, moose, & bears (and we don't mean the friendly gay kind). Then you have Senator McCain. A 72 year old who is likely to have cancer and die in office. A man who has voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time, who is anti-choice, anti-gay, and who is older than Bill Cosby, the state of Alaska, fiberglass, & pull tab cans.

Please. Do us a favor, and vote for Obama-Biden. We'd much rather watch The Odd Couple.
