Forbes Best Places To Raise A Family: Collin County?

Forbes released it's top 20 counties to raise a family, and only one makes the list in Texas. Our good Republican votin', 9mm totin', heroin shootin', Costco lootin' Collin County comes in at number 14.

It mentions how great it is, with one drawback- its crime rate. It is 4 times higher than the safest county on the list, which is in New Jersey. In fact, 3 New Jersey counties (all in affluent northern NJ) make the list of best places. So we ask ourselves, why is Collin County so unsafe with all of its Republicans running the show? Collin County of course has no Democrats elected to office. We aren't even sure if any they hold any nonpartisan city level positions either. So why does the party of safety and guns allow such a great place to be so seedy?

Nothing says Collin County like teen evangelists in Stonebriar Mall, Frisco. He, along with about 15 others, was removed by security 5 minutes later.

Our little rhyme in the 1st paragraph isn't far from the truth. 9mm are the gun of choice for most robberies. Heroin has long been a problem of the teens in Plano, and now they've even found a way to make it cheap by cutting it with other crap. And Plano is home to both Costco locations- one of each side of town. But then you have examples, like the above, of good kids in Frisco trying to tell you about Jesus when you're shopping at Limited Too, whether you want to hear it or not.

So maybe Democrats should be running this November on how to make Collin County a safer place to live. Or, everyone could just move to New Jersey.
