Rep Mike Krusee Charged With Drunk Driving

Texas Republican State Representative Mike Krusee was arrested last night in Williamson County and charged with drunk driving. According to the Statesman, the officer spotted an expired tag, and while in pursuit Krusee was driving erradically. Krusee subsequently refused a breathalyzer and failed the field sobriety test.

We guess Krusee will be contributing $1000 to the Texas Mobility Fund soon.

It's ironic that Krusee's 2003 “driver responsibility program” bill became law and now he has to pay those surcharges for driving drunk, about $3,000 (statesman got it wrong).
