Hey! You Guys Got A "Clean" Black Man Too!

And by "clean", Joe Biden, we mean down with the crackahs! Reagan's faithful token, Alan Keyes, announced he would enter the GOP presidential race on Friday.

We actually heard Keyes speak in 1996 at a campus event. He actually made some sense at the time. And of course it was odd to see an African American rail on about being a conservative. But is Keyes really relevant anymore? In the '96 campaign, he was not even allowed into debates. In various other years, he ran for Senate in Maryland or in Illinois.

You may remember his run in Illinois was to attempt to capture a seat now held by another "clean" black man, Barack Obama. Is Keyes getting into the GOP race as an attempt to face off on Obama and exact some revenge? One may never know. But he is the values voters' wet dream. He is staunchly anti-abortion, hates gay people, and enjoys watching people flash a Lite Brite at Terri Schiavo. But can those same values voters vote for someone who resembles Eddie Griffin's father? We shall see.
